1982 Steve Garvey Game Worn & Signed Los Angeles Dodgers Jersey. Steve Garvey was a model of consistency who could rally the troops. Nicknamed Mr. Clean, Garvey made his biggest impact with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1970's and early '80's before signing a blockbuster deal with the Padres. Garvey wore this "Goodman & Sons size 44" road jersey during the 1982 season. We can link the jersey to '82 because of the two-color block lettering and lack of All-Star Game (1980) or L.A. bicentennial patches (1981). Light overall use is exhibited on the button-up knit. "Dodgers" is underscored in two-color formation with the number sticking out in single-color fire engine red. The NOB is sewn directly to the jersey and the number is below. A manufacturer's tag is centered in the collar. Garvey signed the front in 10/10 blue felt tip. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
