1982 Don Sutton Game Worn Houston Astros Jersey & Cap. Don Sutton was a steady force who pitched 200 or more innings his first twenty-one Major League seasons. The 300-game winner played in Houston in the early 1980's before helping the Brewers reach the World Series. This "Sand Knit size 44" jersey was worn by the permed righty in 1982. The jersey shows acceptable use. The identifiers are all crafted in single-color midnight navy blue. Three labels are affixed in the tail: "82 44z" (year/size), Astros exclusivity and Medalist Sand Knit (partially disengaged). Also included is Sutton's "New Era" cap which shows excellent use. "20" is written in marker. The size tag is tattered. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
