Description
1982 Bill Almon Game Worn Chicago White Sox Jersey. Fifteen year Major League vet Bill Almon wore this "Sand Knit size 42" lightweight jersey during his two year stay in Chicago. The jersey was used in 1982 and is tagged for wear that season. There is a 1983 All-Star patch which was likely added following its year of service. Remnants of a nameplate are visible on the reverse and "Almon" was added along the way. Rich Dotson wore "34" in 1983 so it is possible he wore this as well. Tail tagging includes a Medalist Sand Knit size tag and exclusivity label. The inside features a swatch which reads: "82 Almon 42S" and "2". The backside of the label has "Warren" written in fading black marker. Nice use throughout. LOA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
