1982-83 New York Mets Full Uniforms Lot of 2. Full home and away New York Mets uniforms that we present here date from the early 1980s and were most likely used in either the 1982 or 1983 season. A home white pinstripe jersey and pants show great wear, especially to the royal-on-orange tackle twill identifiers. The number "56" jersey also includes the Mets logo sleeve patch on the left sleeve. The road gray jersey and pants also exhibits great wear, most notably to the blue piping and pilling in the center chest area. Includes the same "56" number and sleeve patch as the home example. While none of the garments include significant team-specific tagging, the inner back pocket of the gray pants has "CONNORS" written in black sharpie there. Research into the jersey numbers used by former Mets show that 56 was worn in 1982 by Bill Monbouquette and the following season by Gene Dusan. Great find for fans of the Mets.
