1981 Al Oliver Game Worn Texas Rangers Jersey.
A lifetime .303 hitter with 2,743 hits and 1,326 RBI, Al Oliver is at the top of the list of players who should be in the Hall of Fame. A starter on the 1971 World Series Champion Pittsburgh Pirates, he was teammates with Clemente, Stargell and Maz. The seven-time All-Star wore this "Wilson size 42" jersey when he won his second Silver Slugger Award in 1981. The powder blue button-up shows great overall use with equal puckering on the two color team name and unique three-color "0" on back. The nameplate has been removed but remnants of where it once stood are visible. A period Wilson size tag is joined by an "81 2" (year/set number) label in the collar. The right sleeve is accentuated with a team disc patch. Oliver boldly signed the front in 9/10 felt tip ink. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
