Description

1980s Comiskey Park Usher's Vest. Comiskey Park was a historic baseball stadium in Chicago, Illinois, and the longtime home of the Chicago White Sox. It opened on July 1, 1910, and served as the White Sox's home for 81 seasons until it closed in 1990, making it one of the longest-standing ballparks in Major League Baseball history. Known as the "Baseball Palace of the World" when it debuted, Comiskey Park was notable for its steel-and-concrete construction, large outfield dimensions, and passionate South Side fanbase.

Over the decades, Comiskey hosted numerous historic moments, including multiple All-Star Games, the 1919 World Series (infamous for the Black Sox Scandal), and the first All-Star Game in 1933. The ballpark was also home to innovations like the exploding scoreboard introduced by owner Bill Veeck in the 1960s. While the stadium aged and eventually gave way to a new facility in 1991 (now Guaranteed Rate Field), Comiskey Park remains a beloved symbol of classic baseball and White Sox history.

Offered is a size-XL vest worn by an usher at Comiskey Park during the 1980s. Mild wear.
