1980's Montreal Expos, Minnesota Twins & San Diego Padres Game Worn Jerseys - Lot of 4. Representing some of the finest knit jersey color combinations is this collection of four game worn jerseys. Up first is a 1984 David Palmer Montreal Expos game-worn powder blue button-up. All of the identifiers are in-place on front including an Expos team emblem and "45" on front and back. The nameplate has been removed and "Berenyi" is arched atop the verso number. The inner tail has these tags: "Ex 84," "Rawlings [size] 46" and "Set 1 1984" flag tag. "18" is written and circled in the collar indicating further usage. For the record Palmer was injured during the season. Batting second is a Jose DeLeon 1983 gamer. A "Wilson [size] 38" tag is revealed in the collar while "35 83" is featured on a swatch in the tail. All of the identifiers are created in two-color formation. Offered third is a #14 Padres jersey, similar in style to the DeLeon. A "Wilson [size] 44" tag is secured in the collar ("89" written in black marker) along with "81" set against the inner yellow ribbed material. The tail includes a "14 80" swatch. "Beswick" is arched to a nameplate on back. Jim Beswick played for the Padres in 1978. The final piece of the puzzle is a 1975 Ray Corbin game-worn Twins knit. Applied in the collar is a "Wilson [size] 44" tag while the tail is balanced off with "75 Set 1" swatch. Heavy use is exhibited which may suggest further use at some point. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
