1980 Chris Chambliss Game Worn Atlanta Braves Jersey. With one swing of the bat in 1976, Chris Chambliss assured himself of never having to pay for a meal again in New York City. That historic swing delivered the Bombers their first A.L. flag since 1964, ending a twelve-year draught. As the starting first baseman on the Yankees three straight A.L. pennant teams (1976-78) and two straight World Series championship teams (1977-78), the dependable Chambliss averaged ninety-three RBI and hit .285 over the three-year span. HIs trophy case includes an Rookie of the Year award (1971), All-Star selection (1976), Gold Glove (1978), and six World Series winner's rings.

Here is Chris' gamer from his first season with the Braves in 1980, when he recorded thirty-seven doubles, eighteen home runs and hit a solid .282. The home white knit pullover displays "Braves 10" on the front and "Chambliss 10" on the verso, all sewn-on in blue on white tackle twill trimmed in red. Blue/white/red trim adorns the v-neck collar and sleeve cuffs, with a "Wilson 44" label in the collar and an "80" year swatch in the tail. A fine looking jersey with fine wear. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
