1979 Gary Carter Game Worn Montreal Expos Jersey. Hall of Fame heritage. Defunct team format. That's a formula for pure collecting gold. The superstar catcher got his start in 1974 at age twenty with this long-suffering team from north of the border, and earned his second of eleven Midsummer Classic appearances the year he sported this home white knit. Solid catcher's wear is evident throughout--note the abrasions and loose stitching on the identifiers. "Expos" name and logo appear over heart, balanced by Carter's number "8" at right. Verso announces "Carter 8" in blue tackle twill. Interior collar holds "Rawlings [size] 42" label and a 9/10 blue sharpie signature from the deceased legend. Interior tail holds "Set 2 1979" flap tag. Look at the prices for Seattle Pilots and Houston Colt 45's jerseys if you want to see into the future of the market for this one. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
