1979 Dwight Evans Game Worn Boston Red Sox Jersey. Dwight Evans, blessed with an oh so sweet swing, was a fixture in Red Sox lineup for nineteen straight seasons. Although he is on the outside looking in, the Hall of Fame should come calling if the baseball gods have anything to do with it. This "Wilson size 44" jersey was worn by the Red Sox favorite in 1979. Sun fading appears on the anchor stitching on the single-color midnight navy identifiers. A Wilson size tag (collar) is balanced off by a "79" year swatch in the tail.
