1979-80 Willie Horton Seattle Mariners Salesman's Sample Jersey. Willie Horton was a four-time All-Star and World Series champion whose eighteen-year Major League career yielded 325 homers, 1,163 RBI and a lifetime .273 batting average.

Here is his salesman's sample Mariners jersey from the end of his career. The road blue pullover v-neck is mildly reminiscent of the 1969 Pilots with "Seattle 53" across the chest and "Horton 53" on the verso, all sewn-on in a funky-fonted blue on gold tackle twill. Meanwhile, gold/blue/white trim adorns the collar and sleeve cuffs and there is a "Rawlings 42" label in the outer right tail. A very attractive display piece. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
