    Description

1978 Pete Rose Game Worn St. Patricks Day Cincinnati Reds Cap, Pants. It's been a tradition for years for the Cincinnati ballclub to trade in their red for green on St. Patty's Day, having a little bit of fun with the casual nature of spring training baseball. Here we find two uniform pieces from the locker of the greatest star of the Big Green Machine. The green cap is tagged "New Era 7 1/4" at interior headband and marked number "14" in black under the visor. Top of visor is signed in bold silver sharpie. Matching pants are tagged "Rawlings [size] 34" inside with "Inseam 23" flap tag and "14" and "78" strips indicating uniform number and year. Pants exhibit some staining which may or may not be game related. Signed in 10/10 black sharpie. LOA from Heritage Auctions. LOA from MEARS (pants). Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autographs). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autographs).
