1978 Paul Molitor Game Worn & Signed Milwaukee Brewers Rookie Jersey, MEARS A10. Blessed with a quick swing, Paul Molitor started rallies his entire career. His 3,319 hits ranks in the top ten on the all-time list. The Ignitor will always be remembered as a Brewer and the team he so masterfully represented for the first fifteen seasons of his career was properly retired by the franchise in 1999. Molly went into the Hall of Fame in 2004.

We searched the auction archives and this is the earliest known gamer from the Brewers icon. The powder blue "Medalist Sand Knit size 40" pullover was used when Molitor was just beginning to establish himself in Brew Town. Moderate use is shown throughout on the two-color, blue-on-yellow, identifiers with excellent puckering. Blue/yellow/blue trim surrounds the V-neck and sleeve ends. A Brewers exclusivity tag is sewn in tandem with a size label and "Molitor 78 40" cloth swatch. Molitor's fading felt tip signature is on front. Overall, the most important Molitor jersey in the hobby. LOA from MEARS, A10. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
