Description
1978 Dwight Evans Game Worn Boston Red Sox Jersey. Dwight Evans, blessed with an oh so sweet swing, was a fixture in Red Sox lineup for nineteen straight seasons. Although he is on the outside looking in, the Hall of Fame should come calling if the baseball gods have anything to do with it.Worn by Dewey during the 1978 campaign is this home pullover. Moderating fraying and surface wear is distributed on the two-color tackle twill identifiers - "Red Sox" on front and "24" on reverse. Applied in the collar is a "McAuliffe Uniform Corp." manufacturer's tag and "[size] 44" label. Sewn in tandem in the tail are "1978" and washing instructions tags. Light splitting is apparent under the right armpit. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
