1977 Toronto Blue Jays Game Worn Jerseys and Pants. From the inaugural season that Major League baseball was played in Toronto we present this fabulous pairing of Blue Jays game worn garments. First, we present an attractive white home pullover jersey with the number "17" in tackle twill on verso. Attribution for this first season is difficult, but it was most likely worn by Tim Johnson in '78 as he joined the team mid-season. A swatch in the collar has been embroidered to read "17 77 3". The road pants are in the powder blue hue that was so in vogue at the time and were worn by pitcher Tom Bruno. Each piece shows nice wear with some light staining. A fabulous pickup for those looking to own these important garments in Blue Jays history.
