1977 Oscar Gamble Game Worn & Signed Chicago White Sox Jersey. The owner of the greatest afro in Major League history made our 1970's dreams come true with a brief Windy City tenure that put him into the only jersey worthy of that towering hairdo. Everything about this home white knit is a disco dream--the massive navy collar, the deep v-neck, the crazy font announcing "Chicago" on the front and "Gamble" on the back, that surname arching gently over the coolest number "17" you've ever seen, signed in silver sharpie (8/10). Interior collar holds "Rawlings [size] 38" label and "Set 1 1977" flap tag. Solid game wear evident from Gamble's best home run season (31). LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA (autograph).
