1977 Mike Willis Game Worn Toronto Blue Jays Jersey with Possible Attribution to Jim Clancy - First Season. The Toronto Blue Jays have been pretty tight with their game-worn wares. That is what makes this first year Mike Willis jersey all the more remarkable. Exhibiting outstanding wear, this "Wilson [size] 46" jersey was worn in 1977 and probably years later as well. Heavy sun fading appears on the split numbers and team name. Originally, "33" appeared on back and it was changed to "18" at some point. Pitcher Jim Clancy wore those digits from 1977-88. Two tags appear in the collar: Wilson size and "33 77 2" swatch. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
