1977 Jeff Burroughs Game Worn Atlanta Braves Jersey. With the very first pick of the 1969 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft, the Washington Senators selected an eighteen-year-old outfielder from Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, California by the name of Jeff Burroughs.

The solidly built Burroughs would go on to enjoy a solid, and sometimes spectacular, sixteen-year MLB career. In 1974 he was named the A.L. MVP after hitting .301 with 25 home runs and a league leading 118 RBI. And, in 1977, the season he wore the jersey offered here, he hit .271 with forty-one home runs and 114 RBI.

This home white knit pullover with funky red pinstriping sports "Braves 7" on the front and "7" on the verso, all sewn-on in blue on white tackle twill trimmed in red. Red trim also adorns the v-neck collar and sleeve cuffs. Collar tagging includes a "Wilson 44" label and a "77 44" swatch. Nice wear and a real looker. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
