1977 Fred Lynn Game Worn Signed Boston Red Sox Jersey. If there has ever been a better rookie season than the one enjoyed by Fred Lynn, we would love to see it. Lynn didn't just bolt out of the gates to start his career, he exploded. Consider these Oscar worthy stats for an opening act - .331 average, 21 home runs and 105 RBIs. You can throw in a Gold Glove and All-Star nod to boot. It was no wonder the Red Sox pegged their future on the inspiring performance of Lynn. The nine-time All-Star sported this "McAuliffe [size] 42" jersey in 1977. Excellent game use is exhibited on the pullover with fraying and puckering on the reverse "19" and great wear on the front "Red Sox" as well. Both sets of identifiers are created in two-color tackle twill. The rear interior has a "McAuliffe" label and size indicator. Sewn in the front tail is a "1977" year tag and washing instructions label. Lynn offered his personal authentication with a bold blue felt tip autograph and "77 Gamer 75 MVP & ROY" inscription.
