1977 Frank Robinson Game Worn & Signed Cleveland Indians Jersey, MEARS A10. This prized four-year style from the Me Decade is presented here in its most desirable format, as it was issued to and worn by Hall of Famer Frank Robinson.

In 1975, he became the first African American manager in Major League history. Before that, he won virtually every honor a big leaguer could win, including Rookie of the Year, Gold Glove award, fourteen All-Star selections, NL MVP, AL MVP, the Triple Crown, World Series MVP, and two World Series titles.

The road red knit pullover presents "Indians" arched across the chest, in the coolest of fonts, with "Robinson 20" on the verso, all sewn-on in white and midnight navy tackle twill. Blue and white trim adorns the collar and sleeve cuffs and an oversized Indians' disc patch occupies the left sleeve. There is a "Wilson 42" manufacturer's/size tag residing in the collar and a "77" year swatch present in the tail. The jersey exhibits identifiable wear and presents magnificently. Furthermore, it is inscribed and signed on the front "Best Wishes Frank Robinson" in NRMT black sharpie.

A mind-blowing display piece. LOA from MEARS, A10. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
