    Description

1976 Jeff Burroughs Game Worn Texas Rangers Jersey. Jeff Burroughs gave the Texas Rangers their first American League MVP winner. The 1974 MVP wore this jersey two years after his career-best season. The 1/4 button-up knit shows good overall use. The team name is in drop shadow formation while the NOB and reverse digits are in red-on-blue tackle twill. The left sleeve includes an USA bicentennial patch - the first time the Rangers wore a patch. Two labels are sewn in the collar: "Wilson 46" and "76 Set 1" swatch. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
