1975 Reggie Jackson Game Worn Oakland Athletics Jersey. Charlie Finley's Oakland A's of the 1970s were about as eccentric as the sport of baseball has witnessed. Mustaches and colorful outfits were commonplace among the free-spirited group. Reggie Jackson was the man at the center of it all. The homer happy slugger comfortably slipped into this "McAuliffe [size] 42" green masterpiece when he turned pitchers into mincemeat in 1975. There is no doubt Jackson connected on more than a few homers with the offered knit pullover. Consistent wear is visible on the two-tone tackle twill identifiers, with noticeable puckering on the back number. Yellow/white/yellow piping is featured on the V-neck while yellow and green striping accentuates the sleeve ends. Four labels appear in the center interior: "1975," "McAuliffe," size and washing instructions. Mr. October gladly signed on front and added his nickname in 10/10 felt tip. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
