    Description

1975 Carl Yastrzemski Game Worn & Signed Boston Red Sox Jersey. Pair the Hall of Fame pedigree of this road grey knit with its American League Championship season vintage, and you're left with a piece worthy of display at Cooperstown. The twelfth of Yaz' eighteen All-Star seasons saw the Red Sox legend put light wear into this historic piece while powering toward an unforgettable October conflict with the Cincinnati Reds, best remembered for Yaz' Cooperstown cohort Fisk and his dramatic Game Six game-winning homer. Red and navy tackle twill forms the celebrated Old English "Red Sox" sewn across the jersey's chest, with the since-retired number "8" applied to verso. A number of scrapes appear on the identifiers. You'll find Yaz wearing a jersey identical to this style, and perhaps this one precisely, on his 1976 Topps card. "McAuliffe Uniform Corp size 42" labeling inside collar, with "1975" and washing instructions tagging in front tail. A 9/10 blue sharpie signature is the icing on this delectable cake. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph). Auction LOA from SGC Authentic (autograph).

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
