1975-76 Hank Aaron Game Worn Milwaukee Brewers Cleats. Quick wrists and a nearly unparalleled bat speed helped Hammerin' Hank bash 755 home runs. A member of the 3,000 hit club and one of only three men who hit over 700 home runs, Aaron plied his trade with a quiet grace. While headlines weren't usually a part of the equation, Aaron had the city of Milwaukee up in arms when he ended his career in Brew City. Worn during the final two seasons of his career are these "Adidas [size] 11 /14" shoes. Blue leather with yellow zig-zag stripes accentuating the sides have these among the most colorful Aaron donned. Both shoes show tremendous use and exhibit wear. "44" is written on the heel of both in vintage black marker and the insides have "11 1/2" notated. "adidas M.V.P." is printed into the sides in gold. These are sourced from a former Brewers equipment staffer who had the job of aiding Aaron during his tenure with the Brewers. MEARS has given these cleats an "authentic" assessment. MEARS Authentic. Letter of provenance from former Milwaukee Brewers assistant equipment manager.
