1974 Joe Lonnett Game Worn Chicago White Sox Jersey. Nicknamed Fred Flintstone because of his resemblance to the cartoon icon, Joe Lonnett was a lifetime .166 hitter who spent half a century working in professional baseball. Most notably, he was the third base coach for the 1979 World Series champion Pittsburgh Pirates.

Here is his 1974 coach's jersey. Home white zipper-front with red pinstripes sports "Sox" over the left chest, in a vertical format, with "37" appearing over the right chest and again on the verso, in a larger format, all of which are sewn-on in red on white tackle twill. The team's disc patch appears on the left sleeve, with "Lonnett" in midnight navy chain link on a white swatch in the collar, and a "Wilson...44" label and a "74 Set 1" swatch in the left tail.

Based on the heavy wear, this jersey was undoubtedly used in the minor leagues. Original (except for missing zipper pull) and unrestored, it displays superbly. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
