    1974 Dan Monzon Minnesota Twins Game Worn Jersey Infielder Danny Monzon died in an automobile accident in the Dominican Republic at age 49. At the time of his death, Monzon was the Boston Red Sox Latin American scouting coordinator. He had a cumulative 131 at bats with the Minnesota Twins between the 1972 and 1973 seasons and was traded by the Minnesota Twins to the Montreal Expos for Earl Stephenson on May 23, 1974. Number "38" is applied to left front and verso of jersey in blue and red tackle twill. Size "42" Wilson and "Monzon" name tags appear at interior collar. A "74 Set 1" tag is found at bottom left exterior tail and Twins patch on left sleeve. Heavy use and staining is evident.
