1973 Tom Hutton Game Worn Philadelphia Phillies Jersey.
Some players just own a certain player. Tommy Hutton's .248 lifetime average didn't leave many Hall of Famers quivering. Well, maybe Tom Seaver was a bit uneasy when Hutton settled into the batter's box. The big leaguer hit a robust .320 in sixty-two encounters with Tom Terrific. This "Wilson size 40" powder blue zip-up saw action during the 1973 season while on the road. Given the extreme use shown, it was likely sent to the minors where it endured further action. The team insignia and numbers have puckered a great deal and the front number has pulled away slightly. "Hutton" is chainstitched to a swatch in the collar - which has broken at the seam. Wilson and year/set/size tags are placed in the lower left region. The NOB has been replaced but does match the style incorporated by the team. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
