1973 Lou Brock Game Worn St. Louis Cardinals Jersey. The Hall of Fame speedster's seventh of eight seasons atop the National League stolen base chart, the 1973 campaign saw larcenous Lou swipe seventy bags to further secure his future Cooperstown plaque. Presented is a white knit gamer exhibiting solid wear from Busch Stadium home games. The classic St. Louis Cardinals chenille birds and bat logo commands the chest, above the number "20" which kept National League pitchers on edge whenever it appeared at first base. "Brock 20" is applied to verso in the same red and navy tackle twill. Proper "Rawlings [size] 40" label is located at lower right interior tail, with a "Set 1 #8P 1973" flap tag affixed at right. A large and perfect blue sharpie signature at front completes the package, with a "HOF 85" notation included. A picture-perfect representation from one of the most exciting players of the 1960's and 1970's, deserving of its perfect A10 rating from MEARS. LOA from MEARS. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
