1973 Eddie Fisher Game Worn Chicago White Sox Uniform.

UPDATE: Fisher wore this jersey only during spring training of 1973.

With Bill Veeck as an owner, you never quite knew what was up his sleeve. Changing team colors and jersey styles were common during his reign. Eddie Fisher wore this pinstriped "Wilson [size] 46" jersey ensemble during the 1973 season. Heavy use is shown throughout with puckering on the two-color tackle twill identifiers from a multitude of washings. Situated on the left sleeve is a Sox disc patch. The collar features "Fisher" chainstitched to a swatch while two tags appear in the tail: Wilson size and "73 Set 2." Also featured are Fisher's pants, shoes and "Wilson [size] 7 1/4" cap. The pants include a tag in the waistline: "Herrmann 73 Set 2 25." We assume they were originally meant for catcher Ed Herrmann. Letter of provenance from Eddie Fisher. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
