1973 Al Kaline Signed Game Worn Detroit Tigers Jersey. Number Six was an eighteen-time All-Star, ten-time Gold Glove recipient, 3,000 hit club member, and World Series champion. In 1980 Al Kaline was enshrined at Cooperstown.

On offered here is Kaline's game worn jersey from 1973. It is a road gray, pullover knit, with "Detroit" arched across the chest and "Kaline 6" on the verso, all sewn on in navy blue and red tackle twill. There is a "Wilson 44" tag in the collar and a "73 44 Set 2" strip tag in the tail. The garment is completely original, displays fine game wear, and is signed on the back in NRMT blue sharpie.

Kaline is part of a select group of Hall of Famers who played in both flannel and knit uniforms. His talent and popularity continues to be recognized and highly valued by collectors, evidenced by the hammer prices that both his flannels and knits have achieved at public auction. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
