1973-74 Jim Perry/Jim Hughes Game Worn & Signed Minnesota Twins Jersey. Jim Perry gave the Minnesota Twins a bonafide ace when he joined the team in 1963. The top-line starter enjoyed a career season in 1970 when he notched twenty-four wins en route to a Cy Young Award. This "Wilson size 46" powder blue gamer was worn by Perry in 1973 Spring Training before he was traded to the Tigers in early May. Nobody else wore "31" until Jim Hughes donned the digits in the 1974 season. We are attributing the use to both players. The pullover shows excellent overall use with heavy puckering to the two-color tackle twill identifiers. The left sleeve is accentuated with a team patch. Two tags are applied in the collar: Wilson size and "73 Set 3." Perry signed the bottom in blue felt tip. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.LOA from Heritage Auctions.
