1972 John Mayberry Game Worn Kansas City Royals Jersey. A two-time All-Star who blasted 255 career home runs and finished second in the A.L. MVP race in 1975, John Mayberry wore the presented gamer during the sunset of the flannel era in 1972. That season was also the slugger's first season in Kansas City and first as a starter. He responded with twenty-five homers, 100 RBI, 4.9 WAR and .298/.394/.507 slashline.

The lightweight home white cotton flannel jersey displays sewn-on blue tackle twill identifiers, blue piping accentuating the collar/sleeve ends and a franchise disc patch residing on the left sleeve, Tagging includes a "Set 1-72" swatch in the collar and a "Wilson 44" label in the tail. The jersey has considerable extra length but it is not designated as such. Exhibits solid wear, remains in excellent condition and presents without distraction. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
