1972 Ernie Banks Game Worn Chicago Cubs Coach's Jersey. The 1952 Brooklyn Dodgers pioneered the number-on-front jersey style, but only once in Major League history was that number set at dead-center. You're looking at it, the 1972 Cubs roadster. In 1973, it was back to the left side where it belongs. Still, these jerseys are sought-after by advanced collectors, and this one is particularly appealing for its original ownership by a Cubs legend. The "Chicago" on the chest is a restoration to the original format, and you can still clearly see the glue stains of the "Midland" lettering it took on in its second life in the minors. But the number "14" on front and back are original and unaltered, assuring Banks provenance. "Wilson [size] 42" label appears at interior collar, with "72" embroidered year swatch at lower left front tail. Blue sharpie signature on front is 9+/10. Solid wear. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
