1972-75 Lerrin LaGrow Game Worn Detroit Tigers Jersey.
Lerrin LaGrow's biggest career moment occurred in the 1972 ALCS when he hit Bert Campaneris in the ankle. The furious Athletic hurled his bat in LaGrow's direction and the benches cleared. Both were suspended for the remaining games of the series. The reliever wore this "Wilson size 48" jersey when he pitched with the Tigers in the 1970's. The button-up knit shows good overall wear. "D" is styled over the heart while "LaGrow 30" takes residence on back. Dark navy piping surrounds the neck and flows down the button path. A Wilson size tag is secured in the collar. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
