1971 Juan Marichal Game Worn San Francisco Giants Jersey, MEARS A10. We believe we have an exact photo match for the Hall of Fame right-hander wearing this jersey, as every detail of proportion and spacing between the letters and the buttons and button path appears to be identical. Our consignor acquired the shirt from the ex-girlfriend of a Giants minor leaguer who was issued the Cooperstown-quality home white flannel in the farm system, where the good fortune of an identical team moniker required no alterations to be made. "Giants" arches gently across chest in Halloween-colored felt and tackle twill, with the retired number "27" similarly applied to verso. Interior collar holds embroidered "Marichal" swatch, and lower left front tail is labeled "McAuliffe Uniform Corp." with "71" year and "42" size markers below. Solid wear but no stains, tears or other distractions to note. Marichal's .621 winning percentage and 2.94 ERA rank this campaign among his finest, earning him a top ten finish in Cy Young voting.
