1971 Cesar Geronimo Game Worn Houston Astros Jersey. Best remembered as one of the key gears in the Big Red Machine, Geronimo got his start under the Astrodome and wore this home white flannel there during his third and final season in Houston. Highly coveted "shooting star" model garment features that design above a chenille "Astros" on the chest, giving way to an orange and navy felt number "20" on reverse. Proper "Wilson [size] 40" label at lower left front tail is underscored by an embroidered "71" directly into the jersey body. Team logo patch remains at left sleeve. Solid game wear evident. Glue and paper from framing may be removable, but is now a visual distraction. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
