1971 Ben Oglivie Game Worn Boston Red Sox Jersey. Don't let Ben Oglivie's 160 pound frame fool you. He could hit, and hit with power. His 41 home runs in 1980 led the Junior Circuit. Blessed with quick wrists, Benji made his debut in 1971 as a member of the Red Sox. That is precisely when he wore this "McAuliffe [size] 42" flannel jersey. Oglivie appeared in 14 games and hit .263 during his initial stay. "Red Sox" is expressed across the front while "4" is found on back - both in brilliant two-color felt material. Three tags are sewn in the tail: McAuliffe, "71" (year) and size. Good use is shown throughout. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
