    Description

1970's Pete Rose Game Worn Cincinnati Reds Cap. Heavy wear on this classic cap is pure Charlie Hustle, the hardest working man in the baseball biz. It's important to remember that these pro model caps were not available in retail outlets back in these days, and the "New Era [size] 7 3/8" labeling is correct for the Hit King. A number "14" in marker under the visor has become hazy with sweat, and the visor and headband are likewise stained with use, the former showing some loose stitching and broken cardboard insert. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
