    Description

1970's Game Worn Baltimore Orioles Spikes from The Brooks Robinson Collection. Crafted in Orioles black and orange, the presented spikes are so heavily worn that any interior markings that may have once existed have been wiped clean by sweat and friction, leaving only a faded number "5" in marker at each heel. Encrusted infield clay still clings to the metal spikes on the sole, remnants of an area where countless hard grounders met their doom at the hands of the perpetual Gold Glover. If heavy game wear appeals to you, train your collecting crosshairs on this lot. Letter of provenance from Brooks Robinson.
