1970 Milwaukee Brewers Game Worn Jersey, Inaugural Season. The first year in Milwaukee for an expansion team that couldn't make it work in the Pacific Northwest. Though the Seattle Pilots were dead, hints of their brief existence live on here, notably in the unique sleeve piping ringing each cuff, and, of course, the general color scheme. "Brewers" stands in bold block lettering across the chest, with the original number "7" on verso initially issued to Roy Foster but worn by Russ Snyder after Foster's early season trade. A remembrance of the original Brewers owner, "70 - Foster," is embroidered in green thread below the "Wilson [size] 42" label in the tail. Wear is light but evident. Graded MEARS A9. LOA from Heritage Auctions. LOA from MEARS.
