Description
1970 Carlos May Game Worn & Signed Chicago White Sox Jersey. A two-time American League All-Star with the Chicago White Sox, Calos May wore the presented jersey during the 1970 season when he batted .285 with eighty-three runs scored. Home white flannel jersey during reports "17 Sox" across the chest with "May 17" on the verso, all sewn-on in blue tackle twill. Blue and white piping accentuates the collar, button path and sleeve cuffs. Collar displays "May" in blue chainlink on cream swatch, while tail displays "Wilson 44" label and "1970-1" in blue chainlink. Exhibits the perfect degree of wear and remains completely original. Please note that there is some discoloration on the front right chest and sleeve, most likely from storage. One of the most attractive and collectible jersey styles from the era.
