1969 John Kennedy Game Worn Seattle Pilots Jersey. It's one of the most coveted uniform styles of the post-war era, both for the undeniably cool aesthetics and the blink-and-you'll-miss-it history of the team. Most of the Pilots jerseys were reconditioned for use in Milwaukee after the team became the Brewers in 1970, and such was the case with this model, though it has since been professionally restored to its Pacific Northwestern originality. Yellow and blue tackle twill announces "Seattle" across the chest beneath the unusual team logo patch. Number "11" is similarly applied to reverse. The Major League centennial patch is properly installed at left sleeve. Interior collar provides embroidered "Kennedy 42" swatch, while tail holds "Spalding [size] 42" labeling and a washing instructions tag with "Set 1 1969" flap tag affixed. Top button is missing otherwise fantastic condition. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
