Description

1968 Phil Linz Game Worn New York Mets Jersey. Road grey flannel is among the last worn by the Mets' second baseman Linz, as he would call it a career at the close of the 1968 season. "New York 2" is applied to the chest in blue and orange felt, with number "2" applied to verso in more durable tackle twill. Dual "Wilson" tagging denotes size "40" and "1968 Set 2" in lower left front tail. Solid wear with some minimal staining on verso. A fine specimen identical in style to those worn during the impending and "Amazin'" 1969 campaign. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
