1968 Danny Cater Game Worn Oakland Athletics Jersey. A .290 batting average may not sound like much, but this was "The Year of the Pitcher," and Cater's production was good enough for a second place finish for the American League batting title, which went to Carl Yastrzemski with a lowest-average-in-history .301. Very tough single-year style announces "Oakland" in crazy Old English font across the chest, with number "2" provided in much more sedate format on verso. "Tim McAuliffe Inc." label is applied at lower left front tail, above "'68" year and "42" size tags. Solid wear throughout. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
