1967-68 San Francisco Giants Game Worn Uniform. Mays and McCovey led the Giants to a second place finish this year, and this road grey uniform shared the dugout with those Hall of Famers and 500 Home Run Club members. The jersey is attributed to "Mahaffey" by the embroidered swatch inside the collar, but the number "38" on reverse is listed as Bill Werle's in team records. "San Francisco" is applied to the chest in the same black and orange tackle twill that forms those digits. Lower left front tail holds "Rawlings [size] 44" and washing instruction labels, the latter holding a "Set 1 1967" flap at right edge. "67 44" is embroidered directly into the jersey body nearby.

Matching pants are labeled "Spalding [size] 36" inside with washing instructions label and "Set 1 1968" flap. Embroidered watch at interior waistband: "Moyer 38 36 27 ins." Both garments exhibit light but definite wear. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
