1966 Ruben Amaro Game Worn New York Yankees Jersey. Home white pinstriped flannel from the Mickey Mantle era belonged to utility infielder Amaro, whose promising 1966 season was cut short by a knee ligament injury suffered in a collision with outfielder Tom Tresh. The result here is a remarkably well-preserved garment as nice as any you'll find from the Major Leagues' flannel days. Logo "NY" is affixed in navy felt over heart, with number "12" similarly applied to reverse. Embroidered "Amaro" swatch is at interior collar, with "66" sewn directly into lower left front tail beneath "Spalding [size] 40" labeling. Here Amaro provides a 9/10 blue sharpie autograph. A washing instructions label is affixed just above hem. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
