1966 Fred Valentine Game Worn Washington Senators Jersey. A tremendous period piece, this beautiful mid-1960's Washington home white pinstripe flannel design harkens back to the franchise's late-1950's style with "Senators" scripted across the chest and "34" on the verso, all sewn-on in two-color red on midnight navy tackle twill. Green "MacGregor 42" tag in the collar, with "MacGregor Set 1 1964" tag and washing label inside the tail. The jersey shows heavy game wear from DC Stadium action.

Outfielder Fred Valentine turned in a fine season in 1966, batting .276 with sixteen home runs, fifty-nine RBI and twenty-two stolen bases, and finishing twenty-first in A.L. MVP balloting after the season. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
