1965 Pittsburgh Pirates Number "21" Game Worn Jersey. All the looks of a Roberto Clemente flannel, without the five-figure price tag. The road grey vest unquestionably began its life in National League ballparks, but a careful eye can see a brighter yellow in the felt of the two-tone digits on front and rear, and the faint path of numbers that preceded the matching "21"s. "Pirates" across chest is original and unaltered, as is the tagging at interior lower button path, which announces "MacGregor Set 2 1965" along with a washing instructions label. Heavy wear, with some damage to the black and gold piping, likewise indicative of a second life in the minors. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
