1965 Pittsburgh Pirates Game Worn Jersey. Road grey flannel vest is unquestionably a genuine Pirates gamer, but a post-Majors number change, almost certainly instituted for secondary usage at the minor league level, establishes Big League ownership as a mystery. The stitching path would appear to indicate that the original number had been "10," correct for catcher Jim Pagliaroni, but we cannot state this with assurance. "Pirates" in black and yellow felt on chest is original and unaltered. "MacGregor size 44" label appears at interior collar, and lower interior button path holds a secondary "MacGregor" label stating "Set 2 1965." Washing instructions label is below. Solid wear. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
