1965 Camilo Pascual Game Worn Minnesota Twins Jersey Worn in the American League Clincher. Camilo Pascual had a knee-bending curveball which could freeze even the best hitters in their tracks. Ted Williams gave him quite the ultimate compliment when he stated Pascual had the most feared curve in the American League for nearly two decades. This "Spalding [size] 42" flannel button-up has special appeal given it was worn by Pascual during the Twinkies' first American League pennant in 1965. Champagne stains have accumulated throughout and overtaken the two-color identifiers from the team's post game celebration following the American League clincher. For the record, Pascual did not pitch in the contest. The jersey does show great overall use and appears to be unaltered. Our consignor, whose father served as the Senators' equipment manager, received this very jersey from Pascual after the team's celebration against the Senators. A Spalding manufacturer's label is joined by a size tag in the tail. "Pascual 17 42 65" is embroidered near the labeling. Sewn inside is a washing instructions label and "Set 1 1965" designator. "Pascual" is embroidered to a swatch in the collar. Letter of provenance from the family of Washington Senators equipment manger Fred Baxter. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
